Building Looply for everyone

Our standard

Looply targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA — every page, form, map feature, and interactive control. This is documented internally alongside our automated accessibility checks, and treated as part of what it means for a change to be done, not an optional extra pass.

What we've done

• Labelled form fields, with errors and status announced to screen readers, not just shown visually.
• Keyboard access to every menu, dropdown, and wizard, including Escape-to-close and visible focus.
• Accessible names on map markers, and an accessible list alternative alongside every map view.
• Automated accessibility linting and component tests run on every change before it ships.

Known limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finished checklist. We keep a prioritized backlog of what's still open in our own engineering docs, and we fix issues as we find them.
