Looply is a platform for councils, organisations, and individuals to run a street library, host a garage sale, or share things they no longer need.
Looply started from a simple observation: most households have books sitting unread, garages full of things worth passing on, and toys, clothing, furniture, and cookware that still have plenty of life left — and most communities already have informal ways to pass these things on, they just aren't tracked, credited, or easy to discover. Looply adds that layer: a place to see what's available nearby, and earn credit both for sharing something and for claiming something new.
Every book, toy, or item that finds a new home instead of landfill is a small win — Looply just makes that easy to do, and easy to see happening.
No staff physically checks every listing. We trust people to describe what they're sharing honestly, and back that up with a simple accountability loop.
Councils and organisations already have trusted physical spaces and local reach — Looply adds the coordination layer on top, at low cost to them.
